Hello. I'm LVCIVS Williams IV.filmmaker/designer

I've always make things: short films, tintypes, book covers, logos etc. My day jobs put me on crews in the oil fields of North Dakota and on cell towers thru out the country. Whether it's a tower crew, a film set, or a design team, the work comes down to the same thing: collaborate closely, pay attention to how people actually work, and build something that fits the people who'll use it. That's how I approach my design, with accessibility built in from the start.. sit back, take a trip, and experience the experience.

Mapping the Loowit Trail

Mapping a three-day circumnavigation of Mount St. Helens on the Loowit Trail, from GPX tracks collected on foot. Built in ArcGIS Pro with USFS trail data, NHD hydrology, and USGS elevation, the project pairs a published web map with a StoryMap incorporating 360° video and black-and-white film photography.

Konst

Busy professionals rarely have time to see art in person. Based on user interviews and usability testing, KONST lets them browse artists' work, read their stories, and buy pieces from anywhere, with a checkout that stays out of the way.

The Bike Corporation, Bike Shop Website Design

Cyclists shopping for custom handmade frames and high-end parts find few options online, and most feel impersonal. Through user research, prototyping, and usability testing, I designed a responsive shop that makes customization simple, specs clear, and the experience feel like part of a cycling community.

Education, Interactive Website & App

Free educational resources are only useful if people can find and trust them. My user research uncovered three barriers: cluttered layouts, weak search, and privacy concerns. I designed a responsive platform that tackles each one with clearer structure, better search, and easy access on any device.

Graphic Design

Book covers, pitch decks, exhibition pieces, and logos, built on bold type and strong images.

Videos, a selection of short videos of various genres

Short films made with generous, talented crews.

Photography, a selection of 35mm , medium format and tintypes.

Digital, film, and wet plate tintypes. Three different conversations with light and composition.

I'm the one crouched on the trail, recording ants while everyone else looks at the mountain. Small details tell big stories, whether it's a tintype, a film scene, or a checkout screen someone can't figure out. I'm based in Washington State, usually somewhere between a trailhead and the darkroom.
